Job Title: Central Office Technician

Location: Windsor, CT

Pay rate: $30 -$37

Scope of work:

LV3 Installer – (minimum of three years of experience)
Capable of successfully performing cable running, forming stitching, and crimping for power, grounding, and IOF applications. Stacking, cleaning, strapping of VRLA batteries. Knowledge in reading/understanding design specification, updating red-line / as-built drawings, and method of procedure (MOP) preparations. Clean and scope fiber connectors, Document light levels, and other readings with job-specific testing equipment (ex: OTDR). Ability to serve as the installation in-charge person.

LV4 Lead Installer – (minimum of five years of experience)

Capable of successfully performing live DC Power Transition, Installation, Test and Turn up of BDFB’s, Rectifiers, DC Power Plants, Monitors/Controllers, VRLA, and Wet Cell battery additions/removal and Inverters. Lead various types of installation projects. The Installer should possess a clear understanding of Central Office Installation / CO Installation and Quality Standards contained in AT&T TP-76300 /76400 / Telcordia GR-1275, AT&T TP76300, and/or Verizon IP72202 Iss 5-1 core standards. May oversee the work of less experienced installers.
