Position Summary:
Anistar is seeking an experienced Electronic Security Technicians to provide assistance with the installation, maintenance, and testing of various types of voice and data cables as well as camera and AV equipment. MUST be comfortable working in a prison environment
Pay range is based upon prior experience ($23-30/HR)
Job Responsibilities:
Installing and repairing security equipment and AV
Terminating data jacks/head ends for PLCs
Experience with CCTV, intercom, controls, touchscreen, and PLC
Procore experience is a huge plus
Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
Working in a detention facility
Pulling, routing, installing and terminating structured cabling infrastructure in a commercial environment.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
3+ years’ experience installing and servicing voice & data/security systems in a commercial environment.
Experience working in a prison
Ownership of basic telecom/electrical tools: Punch down, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, Hard Hat, Boots, Safety Glasses, etc.
Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA or NEC Standards.
Willing to travel throughout GA,NC, and SC for projects
