As the Central Utility Plant Maintenance Operator your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Performs repairs, maintenance, adjustments, modifications, inspections, and preventive maintenance on:
• Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Refrigeration systems
• Plumbing
• Pipefitting
• Electrical wiring systems
• Serves as operator and repairman of the facility utility plant with shift responsibility on a regular and recurring basis
• Maintains all utility systems and computers with controls, taking actions to shut down and bring up systems as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have expert knowledge and understanding in reading and executing Engineering drawings and specifications for the existing equipment and new equipment installation.
• Must have expert knowledge about electrical and mechanical upgrades available on the market. Demonstrates independent modifications to existing and new equipment.
• Conducts independent market research for proper equipment type, energy efficiency/security, and budget information required for final purchase of equipment.
• Routinely provides independent solutions to time sensitive mission requirements.
• Proficient/Expert on DOD and Military training and equipment requirements in a unique environment.

Desired Skill:

• Certifications in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance.
