They are a leader in delivery of health care facilities utilizing the Design, Manufacture, Construct (DMC) methodology. DMC replaces the century-old, siloed approach of the Architecture Engineering and Construction Industry. Job Description:
The IT Project Manager plays a pivotal role in aligning their technology function with the company's strategic direction. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), this solo role encompasses managing IT projects from start to finish, contributing to strategic planning, and executing in collaboration with the CTO. Initially working independently, this position is crucial in shaping the technology landscape of Our client, with the potential for team growth and leadership as the department expands.
You must be able to seamlessly transition between working in the weeds and working on the strategy from one meeting to the next.
Role Expectations:
- Strategic Alignment with Technology Function: Collaborate closely with the CTO to align IT projects with Our client’s strategic objectives and contribute to the development of the technology strategy.
- Independent Project Management: Autonomously manage all phases of IT projects, serving as the single point of contact for project-related issues.
- Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with senior leadership and various departments, ensuring IT initiatives support business goals, and communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
- Technology Implementation and Integration: Oversee the implementation and integration of new technologies, aligning them with strategic goals and existing systems.
- Resource Management and Decision-Making: Effectively manage resources and budgets as a one-person team, making key decisions for project success.
- Team Building and Leadership (Future Scope): Prepare for and lead the expansion of the IT team, honing leadership skills and planning for team growth.
- Training, Change Management, and Quality Assurance: Develop training programs, manage change effectively, and ensure high standards of quality and compliance in project deliverables.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks proactively to ensure project success.
