Job Title: Lenel Technician
Location: Norfolk, VA 
Active Secret Clearance Required
Lenel Cert Required
Pay: $30-45/hour
Hiring immediately for full-time work. 

Responsibilities:

Installation and Maintenance:

• Install, configure, program, and maintain security systems, including but not limited to access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection systems, and other security technologies.
• Conduct system upgrades and modifications to meet client requirements and industry standards.
• Collaborate with project and installation teams to ensure successful implementation of security solutions.                

Troubleshooting and Diagnostics:

• Identify and resolve technical issues promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and utilize troubleshooting tools to analyze system performance.
• Provide remote and on-site support to address client concerns and maintain system functionality.

Customer Support:

• Interface directly with clients to understand their needs and address inquiries.
• Provide training and guidance to clients on system operation and maintenance.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and problem resolution.                                             

Qualifications:

• Minimum high school degree.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the installation and maintenance of security systems.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnostics of access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems. Lenel, Software House, Genetec, Milestone, Axis, Bosch, and DMP.
• Technical expertise in relevant technologies and platforms.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
• Relevant certifications are a plus with regards to video surveillance, electronics, intrusion detection systems.
