NSI Data Center Project Manager

Job Title: NSI Datacenter PM (COLO)   
Work Location: Gainesville, VA
Pay: up to $90,000
PM to have OSHA 30 highly skilled in datacenter work, multimillion dollar facilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage full lifecycle of datacenter projects (from planning through execution and closure).
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including network engineering, systems administration, vendors, security, and operations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to gather requirements and define project scope and objectives.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets.
• Ensure datacenter builds, migrations, and maintenance activities align with compliance, security, and operational standards.
• Monitor and report on project progress, managing risks and issues proactively.
• Maintain documentation, status reports, and post-project reviews for continuous improvement.
• Drive alignment with NSI strategy, ensuring infrastructure projects support broader IT and business goals.
• Oversee equipment procurement, rack and stack coordination, power/cooling requirements, and physical security integration.
• Ensure minimal disruption to services and systems during project execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in datacenter project management or infrastructure-related project roles.
• Proven experience managing datacenter buildouts, migrations, decommissions, or infrastructure refreshes.
• PMP, ITIL, or similar certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of NSI (Network & Systems Infrastructure) principles, including networking, storage, servers, virtualization, and cloud integration.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Trello, Smartsheet).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
