Security Project Superintendent

Job Title: Security Superintendent

Location: Odessa/Lubbock, TX

Pay Rate: $35-42/HR 

Position Summary: Position supports the security solutions business by managing/overseeing the install and troubleshooting of newly installed electronic security encompassing intrusion detection, access control, and closed circuit television equipment and devices. 

Responsibilities of an Security Superintendent:

• Assisting with building project schedules.
• Managing on-site quality to ensure that project standards are met.
• Overseeing on-site resources, including subcontractors.
• Identifying and escalating project issues promptly.
• Identifying and obtaining change orders as necessary.
• Assisting with technical installation, programming, and troubleshooting.
• Providing regular status updates to the Project Manager.
• Interfacing on-site with General Contractors, other vendors, and stakeholders.
• Acting as the on-site safety manager to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Managing on-site inventory.
• Serving as a liaison between the Project Manager and the technical team.
• Marking up engineering documents for clarity and accuracy.
• Managing equipment matrix and commissioning documents.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in project supervision, preferably within the security or technology sector.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and coordinate on-site teams and resources.
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects or portions of projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, contractors, and internal teams.
