Security Technician

Title: Security Technician 

Location: Austin, TX
Pay Rate: Starting at $24/hr

Scope of Work: 

• Must have a experience installing CCTV/Camera systems.
• Big plus to have access control install experience (card readers, strikes, etc) -programming experience not required. 
• Need to know the difference between pulling copper cable (Cat 6) and pulling fiber
• Projects will be all throughout the DFW area. Ongoing work, so this is a long-term role. 
• They are looking for candidates that have a good attitude and strong work ethic.

Candidates will have the following attributes:

• 3+ years of recent industry experience
• Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities under general supervision
• Ability to finish projects
• Ability to organize workload for effective implementation
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing present information in one-on-one and small group situations
• Strong customer and results orientation
• Ability to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
• Ability to function as an effective team member
• Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves

Tools /  PPE:

Basic hand tools needed. Including: punchdown tool, snips, and screwdriver set
