Sr Structural Engineer

Job Title: Sr Structural Engineer
Location: Remote
Cert: PE required (Professional Engineer)
Pay Rate Range: $40-54/hr

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
• Develop an in-depth knowledge of FAA and industry standard requirements, codes, and standards.
• Assist in the development of survey reports and make recommendations based upon information gathered during the site survey and professional judgment.
• Assist in the preparation of tower condition reports based on data from site surveys by others

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
PE Degreed Structural engineer from an ABET accredited program with 4+ years of experience after graduation. NCEES or other third party validation of ABET equivalency may be acceptable.
• PE Registration Required
• Tower design experience required.

1) Collaborate with field staff.
2) Review reports provided by the field technicians. Revise reports as needed, make engineering recommendations on how to improve the towers.
3) Interact with team members in weekly meetings.
4) Review field reports for errors and prepare for FAA review. Address comments from the FAA. Perform intradisciplinary checks. Sign documents as a PE for final issue.
